I’m an entrepreneur and investor (reach out via email). These days I’m primarily focused on investing and incubating companies through my family office. I like building next-gen technologies and companies, and I like funding talented people working on tough problems, from biotech/longevity to nuclear energy, and from blockchain infra to quantum computing.

Previously, I co-founded Ava Labs (building the Avalanche blockchain), among other things. Before entrepreneurship, I was a PhD candidate (dropped out) at Cornell University. Some of my work is in fully homomorphic encryption schemes, OPE schemes, distributed systems/consensus, and crypto economics. Before grad school, I went to Macaulay Honors in New York City.
